Trainer Profile
Andrew 'Andy' Jackson Richards
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Birthday: January 9, 185
Astrological Signs: Maredemilo the Milotic (Western), Magmar (Eastern)
Trainer Class: Pokemon Trainer
Hometown: Wisteur Town
{Appearance}Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 130.7 lbs
Hair Color & Style: Andrew's hair is a light brown color, and cut rather short. It is typically left uncombed, mostly because Andrew believes that there are more important things to do most days than 'do something that will only get undone later on in the day'. He will take the time to make sure his hair is combed for nicer situations such as weddings though.
Eyes: Light blue and rounded, with rounded eyebrows.
Clothing/Accessories: A weeks worth of clothing, consisting of six T-shirts for casual wear and one dark blue polo for more formal occasions, three pairs of knee-length denim shorts, three pairs of black jogging pants, and one pair of denim pants for more formal occasions. one Light jacket for cooler climates and temperatures, one pair of tennis shoes, one pair of sandals. He typically cares more for comfort than what's trending, so much of his clothing was bought second-hand and is covered in various grass stains, paint splatters, etc.
General Appearance: His short height and skinny frame tend to lead people to believe that he is younger than he actually is, with his true age coming as a surprise to many. Although he does have a tan from working with his parents on the family farm, Andrew tends to wear lots of sunscreen when in the sun for long periods of time, as he can quickly go from tanned to sunburnt. When in large crowds or with people he is unfamiliar with, Andrew has a slouched posture, often twisting a rubber band or folding a piece of paper out of nervousness. Typically, this tends to draw in one or two people, usually asking if everything is alright. When he is talking about something important to him though, or is around people that he is comfortable with, Andrew stands (or sits) up straighter, gesturing wildly with his hands as he talks.

{Personality} Introverted - Andrew enjoys a good deal of alone time, needing plenty of it for some r&r after a long day. He also tends to avoid large groups of people or social situations. This doesn't mean he completely dislikes interacting with other people, just that he wants it to be on his terms.
Apiphobic - An incident with a Beedrill in his youth left Andrew with a fear of bee-like Pokemon. He's come a long way since the incident that caused it and has made some progress towards getting over his fear, but bee Pokemon still make him a little twitchy.
Loyal - Andrew believes that loyalty to one's friends, family, and country is extremely important, and holds others to the same standards of loyalty that he holds himself to. This hasn't caused any major issues, but had been the root cause of one or two minor disagreements with his friends.
Impatient - Andrew sometimes has difficulty waiting long periods of time for something, especially something he really wants. This isn't to say he is incapable of waiting, but his impatience can get really noticeable sometimes, even if he tries to hide it.
Shy - Andrew is really shy, something that often combines with him being an introvert to cripple him in social situations. It is very difficult for him to be able to walk up to someone he doesn't know and ask them something, even if its for directions to the nearest Pokecenter or Library.
Kind - Andrew tries his best to be kind to all he meets, and is willing to help them out if they need it, assuming his shyness doesn't get in the way first!
Intelligent - Over the course of his childhood, Andrew has learned a lot about Pokemon and the world around him. He does recognize that he doesn't know everything, and is willing to admit when he doesn't know a particular piece of information.
Curious - Andrew loves to learn new things, and enjoys visiting the library to read all he can about something he's curious about. Although he turns to the internet for quick answers, a trip to the library means one of two things: Either he's looking for a good book he can read for fun (Scyfi novels and myths are among his favorites), or he's getting ready to embark on a thorough fact-finding mission.
Artistic - Andrew enjoys activities such as painting and drawing. Although he does not have an interest in making it a career, Andrew takes great pride in his artistic skill. Many of the Pokemon pictures in his room were drawn by him, using the Pokemon on his family farm as a reference.
Pokemon - Andrew does not have a preference towards strong or weak Pokemon, believing that any Pokemon has the potential to be strong. He tends to favor grass, bug, and water Pokemon above all, with fire being his least favorite type (Although he will admit that some fire types are okay).
Life Goals - One of Andrew's main life goals is to see and learn about all the wild Pokemon that he can. This partially influenced his wish to become a Pokemon researcher, as a Pokemon researcher would get to see all kinds of different Pokemon.

{History}Born in Wisteur Town in the year one-hundered eighty five to John and Emily Richards, Andrew grew as an only child, up roaming the countryside surrounding his family farm. (Although he never went too far without his parents or one of the family Pokemon watching over him.) His father, a gruff and down-to-earth man, works on the family farm growing a variety of crops, primarily candorous berries, herbs, and other plants for Pokemon use, although a portion of the farm is also dedicated to fruits meant for human consumption, primarily strawberry, blackberry, and watermelon fields, in addition to a small grove of fruit trees containing mixed varieties of apple, cherry, pear, and peach. His mother, a city girl who fell in love with the quiet, laid-back atmosphere of the country, is a Pokemon breeder, and in addition to working with the farm's Miltank, Mareep, Combee, Cherubi, and Paras, also breeds a variety of grass-type Pokemon both as a hobby and at the requests of folks who want her to breed a specific Pokemon species for them. This meant that Andrew grew up with an appreciation for nature, both of his parents teaching him to respect it, and it will respect in return. Once, when he was seven years old, his parents took him to visit a relative at Amadour port. Although he had a great deal of fun visiting his aunt, a bad experience with a Beedrill just outside of town left him with an extreme case of apiphobia. In fact, for the first three years after the incident, Andrew was unable to bring himself to help his mother harvest honey from the Combee hives, something that he used to like doing. To this day, traces of that fear still haunt him, not to the point where he actively avoids bee Pokemon, but he does get noticeably twitchy when he's near one. On his thirteenth birthday, his parents said that he could pick a Pokémon to be his own, but he decided that he wasn’t quite ready, and that he hadn’t thought about what he wanted as a starter Pokémon anyway. Respecting his decision, his parents told him that they were fine with him waiting, but if he changed his mind at any point, all he had to do was let them know. Even though all of his friends were leaving town on their journeys with their own partner Pokemon, Andrew was okay with that. After all, he got to help his parents take care of all the farm Pokemon, which meant he had lots of Pokemon to play with. Besides, he knew that one day he would figure out what kind of Pokemon he would have for a partner and go on his own soon enough. It was also around this time that Andrew decided what he wanted to be: He wanted to be a Pokemon researcher, one that traveled around the world studying how Pokemon survived in the wild and how they interacted with each other and their environment.
As the years passed, Andrew began taking extra classes in Pokemon training, biology, and ecology, trying to learn all he would need to attain his goal. It was around this time that he fell in love with libraries, and the endless number of books they had, each one filled with knowledge and stories for him to discover. He also started thinking about the Pokémon he wanted for a starter. Growing up on a farm had given him a bias towards grass types, but which one? Bulbasaur, Cherubi, Cottonee, there were so many good choices! He also wanted a smaller Pokemon so he could keep it out of its pokeball when indoors, unlike larger Pokemon that were not as good indoors due to their size. In the spring of two-hundered one, shortly after the various species of Isda Pokemon had arrived in Godai, Andrew found the Pokemon he wanted as a starter: Fomantis, a grass-type mantid Pokemon. He also got to see its later evolution, a grass type orchid mantis Pokémon called Lurantis. According to what he was able to find, they did not get too large compared to the other grass type starters he could choose from, and were a decently strong Pokémon as well. Also, orchids were some of his favorite flowers, both in appearance and meaning. When he told his parents, they immediately agreed, and his mother, thanks to the assistance of a few friends of hers that live near Skytouch forest, was able to get him a female Fomantis that he decided to call Laelia after a genus of orchids. Andrew had long ago gotten his Trainer License, so he was all ready to begin his journey. Saying goodbye to his parents, Andrew set off for Skytouch Forest with Laelia by his side.

Comfey 3% Caught at Level 5 {Personality}Oh no! This poor guy has the sniffles… and that’s bad. Normally this Comfey already has a bad temper, especially when things don’t go his way. It’s not because he thinks he’s powerful, but he always takes it upon his shoulders that every little decision he makes affects others. As a result, he needs to always be in control of everything around him. Sadly, this cold hasn’t gone away and it’s been wearing him out every single day. As a result, he’s been prone to snapping even easier, officially making him isolated from his friends and family. So, now not only is he sick and angry, now he’s also sad. But pft, come on, he sad? Nah, that can’t be! Ridiculous! Now he’s angry!
