Being an urban teenager, Theo often wears a blue vest with yellow tiger stripes on the sides of it under his blue-green shirt, turquoise pants, and blue sneakers, which he often called his outfit his "everyday outfit". When he starts his Pokemon journey, he was later given long blue fingerless gloves with aqua stripes as a gift from his father and aqua and light blue messenger bag with a Poke Ball and CD logo on the two pockets to represent the organized items.
[b]General Appearance:[/b]
Like any other teenagers, Theo has a lanky build with light fair skin and heart-shaped face, which shows his weak physique. While he hasn't gone into the woods in his whole life until his fateful Pokemon journey, he has healed scars on his knees from his repeated trips on streets and schools. While he mostly shows a bored expression on his face, he often smiles whenever he finds something unique to draw or an amazing battle. However, his eyes often shrunk whenever he's angry or embarrassed.
Since he loved to draw, Theo tends to spin his mechanical pencil in his left hand whenever he speaks to somebody or in deep thought. This also occurs during battles, only that he spins it until he stored it in his right glove when he starts the battle. He is also ambidextrous, although he often used his right hand for drawing or writing.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]{Personality and History}[b]Personality:[/b]
As a fan of comics and manga, Theo is an imaginative boy who loved drawing his whole life. However, this was actually his unhealthy habit as he often gets oblivious to his surroundings whenever he always thinking about drawing. And being a fan of action comics and shonen manga, he always acts like a hero whenever someone is in real danger, which he is not only reckless because of this, but also stubborn at the fact he needed to save them. But one big downside to this was that his preference to his city life and stay home to draw all day after school, which caused his siblings' decision to make him go for his own Pokemon journey in the first place.
However, he has a positive side as he was well aware he can't mimic any dangerous stunts from the comics due to his bad experience in the past. Also, he has an outgoing personality as he easily made some friends due to his positive and kind attitude to others. He also tends to be serious whenever there is a life-threatening situation or a Pokemon or people are kidnapped or stolen.
But despite his positive personality, he has the greatest fear of being ignored and loneliness because of his obsession with his favorite comics and manga due to his bullying experiences during his childhood. When he felt that his fears are coming true, his energetic personality disappears and grew depressed unless someone like his siblings or his Pokemon snaps him out of it.
Initially, Theo has no interest in Pokemon catching or training despite passing the TIS, rather just take care of them as pets. But after the incident in Cloven Plains and as his journey continues, he slowly realizes how fun these battles are and how he missed out on the beautiful scenery if he didn't leave his home in the first place.
[b]History:[/b]
Born in the city of Union with his parents and his older siblings, Tommy and Ellie, Theo was like any normal boy in a big city, playing video games, going to school, and hanging out at local fast food and mall arcades. However when he was 5 years old, he found a comic book from Tommy's bag one day and when he read the whole book, he was completely hooked as he was not only inspired to become the heroes like the characters in the comics and manga but also inspired to draw his own.
But due to his obsession to the comics, Theo became the victim of bullying when he was 7 years old, which made it worse when the bully showed off his early drawing to the whole class, which attracted lots of laughs and mockery to Theo. Because of this humiliation, he not only grew his fear of being called a freak but also became secluded to himself inside his own bedroom after school. This made his family grew worried about his mental state until his aunt, who is an experienced Pokemon breeder, decided to give him a newly hatched Ralts when he was 8 years old so he won't be lonely no matter how tough his life may seem.
Thankfully, the bullying wasn't enough to drop him out of school as he entered middle school and decided to hide his love of drawing and comics to his new peers. However, due to his fears, he didn't play or hang out with other kids as he not only spent his time playing video games and drawing inside his own bedroom after school but also during the weekends as well with an exception of a family outing. Because of this, his older siblings grew worried about his physical and mental state along with his future.
When Theo became 15 years old, his family knew it was time for him to get out of his comfort zone. With encouragement from his parents by promising him more games and comics, he took semester classes and eventually, the TIS license test in order to obtain his very own Pokemon trainer license. But despite doing this, he still has no interest to leave Union.
