Godian Museum of Natural History
The mighty Godian Museum is, in fact, something that lives up to the grandeur of its name. If it wasn't for the sheer size of the building, taking an entire block of land just for it's main building, extended wings and gardens, it would be the towering pillar-based entry hall, or the great domed exhibit rooms. Gold gilted and built with the finesse of an expert architect, the building is quite frankly, a radiant example of Godian architecture's greatest achievements.
But, the grandeur and complicated building structure doesn't impede ease of use, and even if you did get lost, the staff floating around everywhere would be able to direct you true. There hasn't been a new member in years, and every one currently on the staff knows the building back to front.
As for the contents, there are different areas dedicated to different things. One whole wing to the technological developments of the transfer PC, the pokeball, the pokecentre, and so on. Another entire section to the mysterious artifacts dug up from the past, and the various fossils that the scientists either didn't want to relive, or have so far failed to bring back to life. Some of them, they can only guess at what wonderous creature it is.
Another is dedicated to the ancient history and arts of Godai. The story of the founding of the Empire. A mostly peaceful affair, the founding was almost a idyllic happening. Of course, it wasn't entirely peaceful, but what little fighting was done is barely mentioned or brushed over, as the larger picture eclipses the small.
Most notable, however, is the section dedicated to the Firebird Family. Odd, considering Godai's peaceful past, that it remembers a family most notable for creating weaponry. It's true that the occasional battle that is stirred up, they come to the fore and bring the Empire through, but their contribution to battles outside Godai is more significant. Still, as one of the wealthiest, and vainest, families around, it's no surprise they got in.
Most notable, other than the exhibits, are those days where the tours are guided by one of the three 'pokemon professors', the trio known for most of the amazing advancements in knowledge on pokemon in the recent times. It is said that when people get wind that a group is being guided by one of the three, the tour usually gets more than twice as many members than just a normal tour.
