Thomas’ hair colour is a dark shade of brown (#61380B). When Thomas was younger, he never really cared for his looks. He let his hair grow thick and unkempt and never bothered using a comb. However, as he grew older, Thomas finally began to care about his appearance and what people thought of him. This has somewhat come down to his issues with being alone and his fear of never feeling like belonging. Thomas' hair is thick because of genetics, not because of neglect. His fringe would mostly be found combed up, and the sides would be quite tight into the head. The top is thick as Thomas loves to run his hands through his hair when stressed or bored.

Thomas’ priority when it comes to clothes is the comfort. He also likes his outfit to match and look perfect. He usually wears short sleeved shirts he feels they're quite professional and make a good impression on people. They're also comfortable, which is important. If he wants something more casual, he will opt for a plain t-shirt or sweatshirt. Thomas travels with two jackets; a quite expensive jacket that works in the Summer and Winter and a raincoat. He will alternate between the two depending on the weather. Underneath, Thomas will again alternate between a pair of jeans or a pair of chinos. He feels that these are a perfect balance of comfort and professionalism that he likes to reach. For shoes, Thomas wears a pair of black boots or a pair of sports trainers.

He is has a slim, tall figure. He doesn't have any visual muscles, but he is quite athletic and has built some muscle due to travelling and mountain climbing. Thomas' walk is usually quite straight and strong, he does not hunch over or take small steps. |
 {Personality} Before Thomas' mother's death, she always taught him to be kind. He would treat anyone he met with respect and disliked people who are rude and/or insulting. This, however, disappeared after his mother's death. He became cold and distant, constantly snapping at people and lashing out at anyone who came near him. It was as if he blamed everyone for his mother's death and would attack anyone who tried to get too close to him and his past.
Thomas, due to his profession, has learned to put on a façade. He can now "act" polite and kind to people with some ease, but it's always empty. If needed, he can be the kindest soul on the planet, yet can't keep it going for long as his true colours will show. Thomas isn't a horrible person, and can actually be nice to some people. Thomas doesn't try to be rude or mean to people, it's just a result of his past. He will treat people with respect and be polite as long as they show some back. He loves his aunt, who looked after him after his mother died. If there were anyone Thomas cared about, he would protect them with all of his might. Thomas believes that the world is a cruel place, but accepts that this is life. He doesn't believe that some greater deity his punishing him personally, but that this is how life goes.
Thomas has a varying amount of strengths and weaknesses. One of his best strengths is his intelligence. Thomas studied hard in his final few years in Secondary School and at University, and this has given him plenty of advantages. His intelligence covers many things, not just General Knowledge and anything to do with Criminal Law. Thomas was observant and took very close attention to detail. He was also thick skinned, due to the amount of pain and loss he has felt he has built up a wall of sorts. However, if anything did get through it would damage Thomas considerably. Thomas' weaknesses are severe ones, such as his deep-seeded self-loathing, his cold attitude towards others and his social problems.

Then, when the accident happened he felt that he again was responsible. Why couldn't he have seen the car coming? Why couldn't he have warned her? Thomas always blames himself and it tears him apart. As well as his mother's death, he also hated the problems he had mentally. Why does he have to be so unsocial? Why does he push people away? Why couldn't he just move on and find a new life that will make him happier? Thomas is constantly searching for the answer to these questions, but as time goes on he feels that his chances of finding the answers is slipping away. |
{History} Thomas was the only child of a young couple. After his birth, his mother and father started arguing and their relationship started to crumble. Thomas’s father left when he was 2. Thomas doesn't know much about his father, as his mother didn't like to talk about him. Whenever she tried, she would break down crying and Thomas would feel horrible and responsible for her pain. As Thomas grew up, he began to hate his father more and more. His absence hurt Thomas, yes, but what hurt him more was the result it left on his mother. She never seemed complete and it hurt Thomas knowing he could never be enough.
After his father left, Thomas' mother tried to focus on the study of Psychic Pokémon as a way of taking her mind off the pain of losing her husband and father of her child. She made strides in the field, yet this didn't seem to make her much happier. Thomas never liked Psychic Pokémon, as he always felt uncomfortable around them. Thomas was never a fan of the unknown, and he never liked how Psychic Pokémon knew things that humans didn't. Then, when Thomas woke up to one of his mother's Hypno standing over him, he could never look at Psychic Pokémon the same way. He had nightmares for months after this and rarely may have one in his adulthood.
Other than Psychic types, Thomas always had an admiration for Pokémon. He was impressed by their strength and unique abilities. Also, although he would never admit it, he quite liked how cute and adorable some of the Pokémon could be. Thomas liked to go into a secluded area where Pokémon lived and just sit with them for hours. It was a way of escaping the sadness at home and the problems he had at school. Thomas would sit with Pokémon and relax in peace, or play with the Pokémon by chasing them around the area or it would be the other way around and the Pokémon would chase him. This is one of the fondest memories Thomas has of his childhood.
Although Thomas befriended Pokémon quite easily, human friends weren't as easy. He did make a few friends, but he didn't have a large group of friends. This can be linked to his fear of pain or loss after his father leaving. He found it harder to make human friends because Pokémon can't speak his language, meaning he can't hear them say mean things or reject him. Humans, however, can so such a thing and this has always scared him. Thomas was quite hot tempered and got in trouble at school quite a lot. He hated how cruel people could be but most of all he hated how he couldn't take it and how much it hurt him.
However, there was one good friend Thomas had; Devan Riggs. The boy was quite hot tempered and passionate, much like Thomas. They clashed a lot, either with words or with fists. Yet, the two respected each other and would make up in the end. As well as that the other children at the school didn't like them much and the two were kind of stuck with each other. Thomas never met Devan's parents as Devan didn't get along with them, but Devan did meet Thomas mother many times and quite liked her. Devan, like Thomas, had a fascination for Pokémon. He dreamed of becoming a Pokémon League Champion. Thomas, on the other hand, didn't care about that. He admired Pokémon, but never saw it as a career path.
When it came to school, Thomas never really cared for it. He never tried with his schoolwork as Thomas' way of looking at it was that if he didn't like it, he didn't do it. Thomas never got on with his teachers as he was always picking fights with other students and never doing his work. Teachers would discuss this with his mother, but she knew that there was no way of turning Thomas around, and this was something that would have to be accepted instead of repelled. This was because his mother knew Thomas and that deep down he would never want to work. Also, and maybe the more prominent reason was that his mother didn't really care enough to try. She loved her son, but she ignored every problem he had, including his schoolwork.
Then, when Thomas was 13, the fatal accident happened. He had been collected from school by his mother and the two were driving home. Thomas was looking out the window, watching the town go by as they drove home. The radio was on and there was a song playing. It was a pop song that was popular at the time. His mother was tapping the wheel to the beat of the song and singing the lyrics to herself. As his mother took a turn to go onto the next street that brought them home, Thomas noticed the car. It was coming out from a street to the other side of the car and a speed that seemed far too fast for the road they were on. Thomas knew he should shout to his mother to stop the car or to at least warn her of the oncoming car. However, Thomas stayed silent, in shock as he watched the car try to break before colliding into their car. An ambulance was onto the scene immediately, but Thomas fell unconscious. The next day, Thomas awoke and he was in a lot of pain. Luckily, there were no fatal injuries, just a broken arm and some cuts from glass. His mother, however, was the unlucky one. Thomas' doctor explained to him that they tried everything they could, but it had not worked. Thomas' mother had died.
Thomas' heart was broken. His mother, the only person he had cared about, was gone. Thomas felt there was no point in his life and was completely lost. He didn't know where to go anymore. Fortunately for him, his aunt took him in. His aunt lived in Oraclair Town as well, but his mother and she didn't get on that well and so Thomas didn't see her a lot even though they lived in the same town. His aunt was kind and tried her best to care for Thomas. Thomas didn't show a lot of gratefulness for what his aunt did for him when he was young, but when he grew older he realised what she did for him and has since thanked her many times. Although his aunt had tried to do her best to hep him through the trauma, Thomas would never the same. He would never get over his mother's death.
As Thomas grew into his teenage years, he began to take school more seriously. At first, he was doing it because his aunt pleaded for him to try harder, but as it went on he realised that he should start to think about what he wanted to do in the future. Thomas was unsure for a lot of his Secondary School years, but before he began his final year he realised what he wanted to be. Thomas wanted to become a Detective because he wanted to help people who had someone they cared about taken away from them. He wanted to give them justice and closure, something Thomas never had with his mother. He wanted to try and help people never go down the route Thomas went.
As well as trying harder in school in his teenage years, Thomas was also eligible to own a Pokémon. Thomas didn't care at first, as he had lost his admiration for Pokémon. However, the more he thought about the more he thought that it could help him if he had a friend to keep him company until he was finished school and able to go into the real world. Thomas didn't know what he wanted at first, as he had never really had a favourite Pokémon. All he knew was that he definitely did not want a Psychic type. In the end, Thomas' interest was peaked by a rather strong willed Charmander. Thomas chose the Pokémon and named him Charlie. In the beginning, the two did not get a long at all. They argued and fought a lot. Many times Thomas considered getting rid of the Pokémon, but it never came to that. Once, however, the two got in such a big fight that Charlie lashed out at Thomas and scrawled him across the right side of his face. Thomas was in such shock he put the Pokémon into his Pokéball and left him there for days. The scars healed, except for one long one from his right eye to the right side of his mouth. Fortunately, Thomas managed to forgive the Pokémon and since then they have been strengthening their bond and are now close friends.
Thomas went to university, and much like his later years in Secondary School, put in the effort to keep his grades high in his course. He didn't really open up in University, and still was unsocial and somewhat of a loner. His course was a few years long, and Thomas managed to make it through without any problems. He secured a job at the Oraclair Town local police, and life was calm. There wasn't much excitement and Thomas liked it that way. That was, until Thomas' first big case. He had some cases under his belt and he had done quite well. Then, he had his first murder case. A son of a family in the town was killed, and Thomas was given the case. It was his first chance to do what he had wanted to do; give justice and closure to the people who have had someone taken from them.
However, everything went horribly. Thomas' team misplaced evidence, he was chasing dead ends and in the end, he couldn't place the murderer. The family hated him for never finding the son's killer, and the town now knew Thomas as the Detective who ruined the case. Thomas didn't know what to do. He had to get away from Oraclair. Thomas couldn't stay in the town where he had horrible memories anymore. Yet, he needed a reason. Thomas was stumped at first, but finally, he came to a solution; Pokémon. Thomas decided to take his Charmander and Raichu and begin to travel Godai. He wanted to see the country in it whole to learn about life outside of Oraclair. Not just that, but he hoped that he could move on from his nightmare childhood. Thomas still wanted to continue his work as he still had a passion for it, so he decided to become a travelling Private Investigator. So, Thomas left Oraclair behind, hoping that when he returned he'd be a better person. |

Personality: Devan is a very good battler, and he knows it. He likes to annoy and irritate his opponents and can sometimes look down on them. Devan won’t take an opponent seriously until they have proven that they are of the same level of power as him. However, he is still a passionate person and cares very much for his Pokémon. He will always take care of his Pokémon and keep them safe. Though he does care deeply for them, he still trains them hard and takes a tough line on them to work them to their best potential.
Devan travels alone, and he says it's by choice. However, most people dislike him because of his smugness. Devan does not have many friends and has not contacted his family since he started his travels. His father and mother were very difficult on him and never showed him many signs of affection. Because of this, Devan has vowed to not see them or speak to them again until his is a great Pokémon trainer and has become the Champion of Godai.

Other than Psychic types, Thomas always had an admiration for Pokémon. He was impressed by their strength and unique abilities. Also, although he would never admit it, he quite liked how cute and adorable some of the Pokémon could be. Thomas liked to go into a secluded area where Pokémon lived and just sit with them for hours. It was a way of escaping the sadness at home and the problems he had at school. Thomas would sit with Pokémon and relax in peace, or play with the Pokémon by chasing them around the area or it would be the other way around and the Pokémon would chase him. This is one of the fondest memories Thomas has of his childhood.
Although Thomas befriended Pokémon quite easily, human friends weren't as easy. He did make a few friends, but he didn't have a large group of friends. This can be linked to his fear of pain or loss after his father leaving. He found it harder to make human friends because Pokémon can't speak his language, meaning he can't hear them say mean things or reject him. Humans, however, can so such a thing and this has always scared him. Thomas was quite hot tempered and got in trouble at school quite a lot. He hated how cruel people could be but most of all he hated how he couldn't take it and how much it hurt him.
However, there was one good friend Thomas had; Devan Riggs. The boy was quite hot tempered and passionate, much like Thomas. They clashed a lot, either with words or with fists. Yet, the two respected each other and would make up in the end. As well as that the other children at the school didn't like them much and the two were kind of stuck with each other. Thomas never met Devan's parents as Devan didn't get along with them, but Devan did meet Thomas mother many times and quite liked her. Devan, like Thomas, had a fascination for Pokémon. He dreamed of becoming a Pokémon League Champion. Thomas, on the other hand, didn't care about that. He admired Pokémon, but never saw it as a career path.
When it came to school, Thomas never really cared for it. He never tried with his schoolwork as Thomas' way of looking at it was that if he didn't like it, he didn't do it. Thomas never got on with his teachers as he was always picking fights with other students and never doing his work. Teachers would discuss this with his mother, but she knew that there was no way of turning Thomas around, and this was something that would have to be accepted instead of repelled. This was because his mother knew Thomas and that deep down he would never want to work. Also, and maybe the more prominent reason was that his mother didn't really care enough to try. She loved her son, but she ignored every problem he had, including his schoolwork.
Then, when Thomas was 13, the fatal accident happened. He had been collected from school by his mother and the two were driving home. Thomas was looking out the window, watching the town go by as they drove home. The radio was on and there was a song playing. It was a pop song that was popular at the time. His mother was tapping the wheel to the beat of the song and singing the lyrics to herself. As his mother took a turn to go onto the next street that brought them home, Thomas noticed the car. It was coming out from a street to the other side of the car and a speed that seemed far too fast for the road they were on. Thomas knew he should shout to his mother to stop the car or to at least warn her of the oncoming car. However, Thomas stayed silent, in shock as he watched the car try to break before colliding into their car. An ambulance was onto the scene immediately, but Thomas fell unconscious. The next day, Thomas awoke and he was in a lot of pain. Luckily, there were no fatal injuries, just a broken arm and some cuts from glass. His mother, however, was the unlucky one. Thomas' doctor explained to him that they tried everything they could, but it had not worked. Thomas' mother had died.
Thomas' heart was broken. His mother, the only person he had cared about, was gone. Thomas felt there was no point in his life and was completely lost. He didn't know where to go anymore. Fortunately for him, his aunt took him in. His aunt lived in Oraclair Town as well, but his mother and she didn't get on that well and so Thomas didn't see her a lot even though they lived in the same town. His aunt was kind and tried her best to care for Thomas. Thomas didn't show a lot of gratefulness for what his aunt did for him when he was young, but when he grew older he realised what she did for him and has since thanked her many times. Although his aunt had tried to do her best to hep him through the trauma, Thomas would never the same. He would never get over his mother's death.
As Thomas grew into his teenage years, he began to take school more seriously. At first, he was doing it because his aunt pleaded for him to try harder, but as it went on he realised that he should start to think about what he wanted to do in the future. Thomas was unsure for a lot of his Secondary School years, but before he began his final year he realised what he wanted to be. Thomas wanted to become a Detective because he wanted to help people who had someone they cared about taken away from them. He wanted to give them justice and closure, something Thomas never had with his mother. He wanted to try and help people never go down the route Thomas went.
As well as trying harder in school in his teenage years, Thomas was also eligible to own a Pokémon. Thomas didn't care at first, as he had lost his admiration for Pokémon. However, the more he thought about the more he thought that it could help him if he had a friend to keep him company until he was finished school and able to go into the real world. Thomas didn't know what he wanted at first, as he had never really had a favourite Pokémon. All he knew was that he definitely did not want a Psychic type. In the end, Thomas' interest was peaked by a rather strong willed Charmander. Thomas chose the Pokémon and named him Charlie. In the beginning, the two did not get a long at all. They argued and fought a lot. Many times Thomas considered getting rid of the Pokémon, but it never came to that. Once, however, the two got in such a big fight that Charlie lashed out at Thomas and scrawled him across the right side of his face. Thomas was in such shock he put the Pokémon into his Pokéball and left him there for days. The scars healed, except for one long one from his right eye to the right side of his mouth. Fortunately, Thomas managed to forgive the Pokémon and since then they have been strengthening their bond and are now close friends.
Thomas went to university, and much like his later years in Secondary School, put in the effort to keep his grades high in his course. He didn't really open up in University, and still was unsocial and somewhat of a loner. His course was a few years long, and Thomas managed to make it through without any problems. He secured a job at the Oraclair Town local police, and life was calm. There wasn't much excitement and Thomas liked it that way. That was, until Thomas' first big case. He had some cases under his belt and he had done quite well. Then, he had his first murder case. A son of a family in the town was killed, and Thomas was given the case. It was his first chance to do what he had wanted to do; give justice and closure to the people who have had someone taken from them.
However, everything went horribly. Thomas' team misplaced evidence, he was chasing dead ends and in the end, he couldn't place the murderer. The family hated him for never finding the son's killer, and the town now knew Thomas as the Detective who ruined the case. Thomas didn't know what to do. He had to get away from Oraclair. Thomas couldn't stay in the town where he had horrible memories anymore. Yet, he needed a reason. Thomas was stumped at first, but finally, he came to a solution; Pokémon. Thomas decided to take his Charmander and Raichu and begin to travel Godai. He wanted to see the country in it whole to learn about life outside of Oraclair. Not just that, but he hoped that he could move on from his nightmare childhood. Thomas still wanted to continue his work as he still had a passion for it, so he decided to become a travelling Private Investigator. So, Thomas left Oraclair behind, hoping that when he returned he'd be a better person.[/td][/tr][/tbody][/table][/spoiler]

{Personality} | Charlie is the closest thing Thomas has to a friend. The two had a rocky beginning and neither liked each other. They fought a lot, which led to the long scar on the right side of Thomas' face. As the two grew closer and closer through their journey, the scar has always haunted Charlie. He sees it as a constant reminder of the horrible thing he did to his trainer. He can never look at Thomas without seeing the scar, and it honestly hurts him to see. Charlie would protect Thomas at whatever cost, and knows that Thomas would do the same for him. The two have gone through a lot together, and now can safely say that they are on the same side. Since evolving, Charlie has become even more protective of his trainer and closest friend. He has become so protective that the level head he had when he was a Charmander has somewhat gone out the window. Thomas hopes to set the Pokemon straight once again. |

Ohm is one of the most confident Pokémon you'll ever meet. He wouldn't be arrogant, but Ohm would back himself to win most battles. He always respects his opponent, but would disappointed in himself if he lost. Thomas and Ohm first met in Skytouch when Thomas was on a year break before going into University. He was impressed with the then Pikachu's determination and decided he would like for the Pikachu to stick around. {Personality} | If Ohm is self determined and self confident, Kinge was on a whole other level before being caught. He liked to do things his way and didn't take advice from anyone or anything. It goes without saying, This guy was amazingly stubborn. Adapting well to the domesticated life, Kinge here has somewhat let loose and begun to calm down just a tad bit. He is learning to work as a team and to not be as much of a self centered Pokémon at all times as he was before. Kinge is adamant to battle any opponent that could come his way, and become stronger by doing so. He is always looking to prove himself to anyone around him and now that he's joined Thomas' team he has another chance to prove himself to someone. Despite his stubborn and independent nature, Kinge loves it when people are impressed by him and he does somewhat seek a sense of validation. They fought a lot, which led to the long scar on the right side of Thomas' face. As the two grew closer and closer through their journey, the scar has always haunted Charlie. He sees it as a constant reminder of the horrible thing he did to his trainer. He can never look at Thomas without seeing the scar, and it honestly hurts him to see. Charlie would protect Thomas at whatever cost, and knows that Thomas would do the same for him. The two have gone through a lot together, and now can safely say that they are on the same side. Since evolving, Charlie has become even more protective of his trainer and closest friend. He has become so protective that the level head he had when he was a Charmander has somewhat gone out the window. Ohm is one of the most confident Pokémon you'll ever meet. He wouldn't be arrogant, but Ohm would back himself to win most battles. He always respects his opponent, but would disappointed in himself if he lost. Thomas and Ohm first met in Skytouch when Thomas was on a year break before going into University. He was impressed with the then Pikachu's determination and decided he would like for the Pikachu to stick around. Ohm, however, has not been happy for the past few years as he felt he was not being used for what he really loved; battling. He liked to do things his way and didn't take advice from anyone or anything. It goes without saying, This guy was amazingly stubborn. Adapting well to the domesticated life, Kinge here has somewhat let loose and begun to calm down just a tad bit. He is learning to work as a team and to not be as much of a self centered Pokémon at all times as he was before. Kinge is adamant to battle any opponent that could come his way, and become stronger by doing so.
