Hair Color/Style: Most often he wears his dyed golden yellow hair flipped to the right side of his face. His undercut and eyebrows are dark brown, indicating his original hair color. More often than not the top is worn tousled and relaxed, as it is easier to maintain.
Eyes: Has large, hooded eyes that are slightly droopy. He has sharp, emotive eyes, capable of giving off a blaise relaxed vibe, or carrying the intense hunger and desire to win that burns within him. Dark brown coloring, to the point of almost appearing black in some lighting.
Clothing/Accessories: Generally dresses in basic styled, high quality clothing. Most often he wears a black tshirt and white and black joggers. Despite his casual style of dress the quality of the material stands out to reflect the care he puts into his apparently laid back appearance. On his feet he wears a pair of black and red running shoes, suitable for athletic work as well as long foot journey. Ultimately he dresses for functionality.
He carries a sports duffel bag on his back to carry his various items and spare clothing, notably, a maroon light weather jacket which he wears at night or when it’s chilly. And a pair of black shorts that end just above his knees.
General Appearance: At first glance Lucas is carefree and laid back. Handsome in feature and exuding charm and confidence he often wears a lazy smile across his face. He often puts out an aura of being lackadaisical in appearance with a basic sense of style and unkempt hair. However, his clothes are always clean, and of high quality make, and he takes care of himself.
Physically he is a well built man of just over 6 feet. He works out every morning before he gets started on his day and is in good shape, obvious at a glance by his slim yet muscular build. He has a handsome face that is often wearing a smirk or the aforementioned lazy smile. His hooded eyes add to his appeal, giving him a certain look of arrogance when combined with his usual wit, or intensity when he gets more serious.

Personality: Generally Lucas comes off as carefree and confident, he is witty and sharp tongued, throwing out jabs and offhanded compliments. He is quick to talk trash and provoke, trying to get into his opponents heads as soon as possible, believing that only being fired up can we be at our best. His confidence is obvious, due to an unwavering belief in his own ability as a trainer, despite a lack of real work experience. He comes off as charming but occasionally can get on the nerves of the people he interacts with coming off as condescending and rubs people the wrong way.His hotblooded nature often gets him into trouble as he is known to dive into something without considering the effects, opting to handle them after the fact.
An active and athletic young man nearing his prime, he can hardly ever sit still. He works out when he can and is an avid reader. He is easily motivated when he wants something, staying in shape, learning the ropes of Pokemon battling, and eventually his return trip to Godai to challenge the Nijuu and prove himself as a trainer. When he sets his sights on something he rarely lets it escape. This makes he fairly narrow minded, focusing on one large goal at a time until it's crossed off of his list. Despite his outwardly lazy attitude and appearance he is a fierce competitor.
He has two distinct moods he can be found in. On one hand he is blase and lazy looking, quick to joke and seeming to take nothing seriously in the slightest, making light of grim situations and staying calm to the point of appearing apathetic.
On the other hand, he is fiercely competitive. Once he gets serious in battle he becomes laser focused and can be driven by his emotions. He has a tendency to get excited when in a battle, especially if it’s close. He hates to lose and often beats himself up at any sign of a setback, the combination of these traits can often lead him into bad decisions. When the heat of the battle is over, despite beating himself up, he is respectful of anyone skilled enough to out battle him.
Following his years at the Academy and his return to Godai he has become sharp and focused, seeing his goal as a means to redeem himself from his last large loss. Despite this Lucas still has a tendency to dilly dally and enjoy small things in life. His ability to compartmentalize and separate short and long term goals are one of the reasons he is able to find such success in whatever he sets his mind to.
Despite being held back his flaws, he generally finds success through purely dogged determination and hot blooded passion.[/spoiler]
History: Lucas is the elder twin to his brother Claus, born to Henry and Karlotte Albrecht. His parents are both in the trading business and are part of an upper middle class that borders on high class society. The twins were never left wanting, given everything they could ask for from a young age, a good education, a healthy diet, and ample opportunity to grow and be nurtured to reach their potential.
Childhood was spent in Godai, in a private school that allowed Lucas to take advantage of excellent teachers and instructors, from a young age he and his brother were interested in Pokemon, with Lucas being more attracted to the appeal of battling. The glory of a victorious Pokemon trainer was a thrill that he wished to experience as early as he could remember. He and his brother got along famously, often inseparable from one another at a young age. Their parents had both decided to stay at home with the boys in order to raise them. Having a pair of parents to rear the two, they were well adjusted and polite as children. As disciplinarians their parents were both fair with Henry being the stricter of the two, but due to Claus' more timid nature both were more lenient on him. This pushed Lucas into more of a big brother role than as a twin, this marked the beginning of their separation.
Throughout their early years in school Claus showed a penchant for book work and for theoretical learning while Lucas excelled more in hands on and experienced based learning. This tendency, along with his big brother role, caused him to get in trouble with other adults as he often led the way and of the two Claus was tended to be handled with more care as he was smaller and more docile. Compared to other kids the two were very popular, they were intelligent and well liked, with Lucas being more outgoing less averse to risk than his brother, however they were considered to be spoiled by some of their peers. Around this time Claus began to lean toward introversion while Lucas drifted the other way. With each other, they shared an impossible to replicate bond, they were able to nearly read one another's mind. The two of them balanced one another out, Claus was open and humorous around his brother and he motivated his older brother to fly straight and keep him on track.
Their parents often coddled Claus while pushing Lucas to be greater. It would impact their personalities greatly, developing an insatiable drive for greatness and victory in Lucas, and a stoic confidence in his younger brother. It was with this confidence in their children that Karlotte and Henry would make a bold decision.
In their early teens, his parents sought to reenter the workforce and were unable to spend the same amount of time with the boys as they had during the rest of their childhood. As a result they were sent overseas to a private boarding school. The school, Inazaraki Academy, was incredible, a massive campus with world class teachers and programs. It was at this academy where Lucas was formally introduced to Pokemon battling.
The school had a program where prospective trainers could battle with a wide array of Academy owned rental Pokemon in order to give them higher end experience and test their abilities with fully evolved and trained Pokemon. Lucas excelled in this program, picking up on type advantages and team composition quickly, paired with his intense competitive nature he was quickly recognized as one of the schools best trainer prospects. Each of the three years they would attend the Academy held a year end tournament for the students of each year, a test of the breeding programs, which Claus was particularly adept at, ability to raise pokemon, and the trainers program ability to battle them.
In the first year of the tournament Lucas was met with fierce competition in the finals against a girl named Helena, whom he had developed a budding rivalry with, where he would eventually emerge victorious. The second year was filled with a few hurdles, at the year end tournament Helena was knocked out by a rookie mistake, and as she was developing into his most intense competition he once again won the tournament. The third year was quite different.
By this time Lucas and his brother had grown more into their own skin, all while nurturing their bond. Being alone together overseas caused them to watch each others back more closely then they had before, with Lucas leaning more into his big brother role than he had when they were kids. They were able to confide each other their deepest feelings. Claus was well rounded in his studies, even picking up a decent skill in battling. Lucas on the other hand, focused solely on battling, a skill which he honed into a sharp edge. His understanding of type match ups and team composition were what put him over the top, as well as a natural instinct that he took advantage of when he could.
Claus had entered the tournament, he had been training alongside his brother in the summer before school had started up again and had shown a promising future as a trainer as well as a breeder, of which he was best known for. Lucas was excited as battles with his brother were always heated, as most competition between brothers, and twins, usually were. The way that the tournament was bracketed meant that Lucas, if he won all of his matches, could face Claus in the semi finals and if things went well, Helena in the finals. Lucas was heavily favored in the tournament and with the season he’d had before it was unlikely that he would lose. His trio of Pidgeot, Armaldo, and Electivire were nearly untouched.
The semifinal with his brother was fierce, with Lucas narrowly defeating his brother and moving on to the then waiting Helena. This was unlike any other battle he had faced, his last chance under the bright lights to leave the Academy with all three tournament victories. He wanted nothing more.
She quickly gained the lead, and because of an absolutely juvenile risk, defeated Lucas. The result of this battle was devastating for Lucas, he couldn’t stand Helena in general, and thus far had not lost to her in an official match. His competitive drive was shaken. It had been his identity thus far, the undefeated prodigy trainer. Without that, leaving like that without a chance to redeem himself left him wanting. He had never faced such a tough loss and was unsure how to proceed, he underestimated her and thought himself unstoppable. He withdrew into himself and into his room, barely leaving it for the remainder of the semester. It was more than a single loss for him, it was his identity, it was who he was, when Helena had defeated him in that match it said to him that he was nothing. He sunk into an all time low.
With school ending and no reason to stay overseas, Lucas turned back to his homeland, Godai. The suggestion was that of his brothers, who despite their sibling rivalry wanted to see his brother succeed. His experience with Pokemon had been mostly battling, he had no experience raising or tending to Pokemon. It was his biggest weakness, if he sought to be the best he would have to learn to raise his Pokemon as well as battle them. And under the advice of Claus he returned to Godai, in anticipation of starting the journey of a full trainer, responsible for fully raising and caring for his Pokemon. Godai provided a valid measuring stick for his success in the form of the region's Gym Challenge. If he could overcome this he would be validated as a full trainer in his own eyes. Upon arriving home he took his trainers exam, which he passed with ease considering his age and experience at the academy. With a renewed sense of purpose, Lucas Albrecht set out to conquer his home of Godai.
