Common Creatures Become Fantasy

Hallo. Most of those in Discord know I'm working on making a rp forum that's a litRPG. It was proposed that instead of using normal animals found on Earth I should have creatures that are similar, but not actually found in our world. I'm already going to be including things like dragons, unicorns, etc; but I need more common animals that seem familiar and yet not quite the same. An example: A squirrel with tiny reindeer horns, or a rabbit with 3 back legs instead of 2. Things like that where it's similar, but you know you're definitely not on Earth. If you can please give me some good ideas to include in the rp I would appreciate it. Similar creatures I need ideas for: squirrels, rabbits, foxes, deer, horses, etc. Things you could find out in the wild and from any environment. You could even get some inspiration from Pokemon, though please keep out anything elemental (example: no horses with manes of fire). thank you.
