Her summer attire follows her Spring attire patterns with fewer layers. Her Autumn attire parallels her Spring attire, with a color palette appropriate to the season.

However, upon meeting Lux's dad, her mom decided to be a full, stay at home mom. Lux's father inherited their property from her grandfather. The property spanned a large section of the coast in addition to multiple acres of farm-land that he rented out to other farmers to take care of.

Lux was born on December 17th, as an 8lb baby. She learned how to run before she walked and had memorized her father's music albums by the time she was four years old. Their parents enrolled her and her older brother in a nearby homeschool community that met three times a week. On her other days, Lux would join her dad on his fishing trips or learn how to cook, clean and create outfits with her mother. Her passion for the ocean, craftsmanship and hard work was fostered by her parent's insistence on teaching her. By the time Lux was ten, she insisted that she and her mother should start a tailoring shop for their small, fishing community. Despite have little experience with the shop, her mother was so endeared by Lux's passion that she complied. They named the store "All-Luxury" after her. On her days off, she loved to help out the workers in the fields and spend time with them and their pokemon.

Their life was pretty cozy and consistent until a horrible disease started to sicken the coral along the shoreline, and for a period of nine months, her father's fishing business began to decline. The whole fishing community began to deteriorate and their tailoring shop in addition to the farmers and all other businesses began to falter. Lux was about 11 when her mother decided to move back to Godai to help the family's financial situation, as the coral's health didn't seem to be getting better. While her mother was overseas, Lux, her brother and father continued to take care of the farm and the tailoring shop. During this time, Lux's steadfastness improved. She responded with anger at the coral and how it ruined their business, but it made her more determined to be of help to her family. Her mother had found a great job in the retail business and her income helped their family as the coral slowly regained their health.

Once the coral was restored and Lux's dad was able to return to fishing, the family heard less and less from their mother. Lux was 15 when her mother called the father for the last time, informing him that she had became CEO of the fashion company she worked for and that she wanted a divorce. She was doing well in her new life and didn't want to go back. She also found another fiance and wouldn't accept no for an answer. The Otieno's didn't leave their house for two weeks after receiving the news. After their grief, Lux's father spent more time on his ship than he did at home, working longer hours. Lux kept the business up, despite the hopelessness that crept up on her. She continued the business under her father's name, but huge a chunk of her motivation was taken out of her since this was the company she and her mother started.

For a span of two months, the house remained silent as her dad and brother would go out on the sea and Lux would take care of the house. The silence became unbearable, until Lux one day insisted that they all go on a sea voyage as a family to visit the Isdan islands. Her brother and father agreed and for the next two years, they enjoyed each other's company on the ocean, making the sea their home and traveling to other islands. During this time, Lux's eyes were opened to the other cultures present even on her continent. She used this time to gather materials and make partners with merchants and shops, increasing the attention of her clothing shop. She had hated her mother and in turn grew bitter towards other foreigners, but because of this excursion, Lux gained a fuller appreciation for her country and the different cultures present in it. After forming connections, Lux desired even more to travel to Godai to see where the industry would take her and to search for her mom who she still hadn't forgiven. Her father forbade her to leave Isda, cursing the Godain people for being devilish tricksters, so Lux kept her plans to herself. Discouraged by her father, Lux silently harbored ideas of how to spread her business goals overseas and represent the flourishing diversity of Isda.

At the end of those two years, Lux celebrated her 17th birthday before they returned to their home. She and her family were reinvigorated by the exchange of cultures and ideas, that they returned to their work with renewed passion. Upon returning, however, their father became ill and over the next two years, she and her brother spent more time on the boat and their father spent more time in bed. As Lux had to help her brother, she also spent less time on her fashion, finding it difficult to cultivate her dream of sharing Isda's splendor to other continents. In this time period, she was able to spend more time with her brother, however, and the two's bond grew stronger the more they cooperated in providing for their family. Their father's kidneys were failing him and the sea-voyaging had made his bones brittle. Lux had to close down "All-Luxury", deciding to spend her time taking care of her father instead. Her dreams to leave for Godai seemed to fall into a coma as her father's health deteriorated, thinking it was her fault that he grew sick. Maybe if she didn't care about leaving so much or exploring the world, then her father wouldn't have grown sick and their life wouldn't be so miserable. They had to let go of many workers and servants since they could no longer pay them to help. Her brother continued to fish, but without their dad, the family's well-being began to precipitously decline

Her father died a month before Lux's 18th. Lux and her brother almost stopped eating for a few days after his death and after taking care of funeral arrangements, they found themselves in serious debt. Lux almost forgot how to function when her dad died and struggled with anorexia. Her brother had started smoking and turned the property into a smokehouse. Lux's brother inherited the land since the two of them were both of age, but their properties and businesses whittled away like their father, leaving them with nothing to work with. The desire to travel to Godai reignited in Lux's heart, though she also didn't want to leave their dying land. Lux's rich uncle, who owned multiple beach resorts, had been eyeing their dad's property since his brother had inherited it, and called Lux and her brother one day with an offer. He would help them get a place overseas, take care of all their clothes and monetary needs until they were up and running, all in exchange for the plot of land they had.

Lux's brother was ready to sign away the house since the uncle even offered to pay for a Godaian education, but Lux was adamant to keep the land. Her father had inherited the land and this was the place of her childhood. After losing both her parents, she'd rather lose her life than give up the rest of her childhood. Her brother threatened to disown her if she didn't concede to their uncle's deals. Prioritizing reason over her emotions, Lux said yes and vowed to never forgive her brother for giving up so easily. Though she knew it would have been nigh impossible to keep it up, there was still a chance and her cowardly brother didn't trust her nor himself enough to take that chance. After contracting the land to their rich uncle, Lux and her brother were given all the clothes they could ask for, a one way trip to Godai, and keys to a fully furnished condominium in Cadence. Her brother was ecstatic, but Lux was skeptical at best since now they were indebted to their uncle and he could cut them off at any time. Their uncle was also a corrupt businessman and to give him their property was to fuel his corrupted enterprise. Thus, she refused her uncle's offer to pay for her education as an act of partial rebellion.  She and her brother moved to Aurmouth City, and she refuses to forgive him. She hopes to find her own place, restart "All-Luxury" and eventually regain the land that rightfully belonged to her and her family.[/spoiler]

She continued the business under her father's name, but huge a chunk of her motivation was taken out of her since this was the company she and her mother started.

For a span of two months, the house remained silent as her dad and brother would go out on the sea and Lux would take care of the house. The silence became unbearable, until Lux one day insisted that they all go on a sea voyage as a family to visit the Isdan islands. Her brother and father agreed and for the next two years, they enjoyed each other's company on the ocean, making the sea their home and traveling to other islands. During this time, Lux's eyes were opened to the other cultures present even on her continent. She used this time to gather materials and make partners with merchants and shops, increasing the attention of her clothing shop. She had hated her mother and in turn grew bitter towards other foreigners, but because of this excursion, Lux gained a fuller appreciation for her country and the different cultures present in it. After forming connections, Lux desired even more to travel to Godai to see where the industry would take her and to search for her mom who she still hadn't forgiven. Her father forbade her to leave Isda, cursing the Godain people for being devilish tricksters, so Lux kept her plans to herself. Discouraged by her father, Lux silently harbored ideas of how to spread her business goals overseas and represent the flourishing diversity of Isda.

At the end of those two years, Lux celebrated her 17th birthday before they returned to their home. She and her family were reinvigorated by the exchange of cultures and ideas, that they returned to their work with renewed passion. Upon returning, however, their father became ill and over the next two years, she and her brother spent more time on the boat and their father spent more time in bed. As Lux had to help her brother, she also spent less time on her fashion, finding it difficult to cultivate her dream of sharing Isda's splendor to other continents. In this time period, she was able to spend more time with her brother, however, and the two's bond grew stronger the more they cooperated in providing for their family. Their father's kidneys were failing him and the sea-voyaging had made his bones brittle. Lux had to close down "All-Luxury", deciding to spend her time taking care of her father instead. Her dreams to leave for Godai seemed to fall into a coma as her father's health deteriorated, thinking it was her fault that he grew sick. Maybe if she didn't care about leaving so much or exploring the world, then her father wouldn't have grown sick and their life wouldn't be so miserable. They had to let go of many workers and servants since they could no longer pay them to help. Her brother continued to fish, but without their dad, the family's well-being began to precipitously decline

Her father died a month before Lux's 18th. Lux and her brother almost stopped eating for a few days after his death and after taking care of funeral arrangements, they found themselves in serious debt. Lux almost forgot how to function when her dad died and struggled with anorexia. Her brother had started smoking and turned the property into a smokehouse. Lux's brother inherited the land since the two of them were both of age, but their properties and businesses whittled away like their father, leaving them with nothing to work with. The desire to travel to Godai reignited in Lux's heart, though she also didn't want to leave their dying land. Lux's rich uncle, who owned multiple beach resorts, had been eyeing their dad's property since his brother had inherited it, and called Lux and her brother one day with an offer. He would help them get a place overseas, take care of all their clothes and monetary needs until they were up and running, all in exchange for the plot of land they had.

Lux's brother was ready to sign away the house since the uncle even offered to pay for a Godaian education, but Lux was adamant to keep the land. Her father had inherited the land and this was the place of her childhood. After losing both her parents, she'd rather lose her life than give up the rest of her childhood. Her brother threatened to disown her if she didn't concede to their uncle's deals. Prioritizing reason over her emotions, Lux said yes and vowed to never forgive her brother for giving up so easily. Though she knew it would have been nigh impossible to keep it up, there was still a chance and her cowardly brother didn't trust her nor himself enough to take that chance. After contracting the land to their rich uncle, Lux and her brother were given all the clothes they could ask for, a one way trip to Godai, and keys to a fully furnished condominium in Cadence. Her brother was ecstatic, but Lux was skeptical at best since now they were indebted to their uncle and he could cut them off at any time. Their uncle was also a corrupt businessman and to give him their property was to fuel his corrupted enterprise. Thus, she refused her uncle's offer to pay for her education as an act of partial rebellion.  She and her brother moved to Aurmouth City, and she refuses to forgive him. She hopes to find her own place, restart "All-Luxury" and eventually regain the land that rightfully belonged to her and her family.
