Attention all Trainers!
Things Have certainly been picking up around here, haven't they? Both regular members and mods have been coming back and the old rusted gears have started to turn. We have TOTM going, and have even changed the season.
We are wrapping up a tournament, and all of you should expect some story developments very soon.
But first, I want to say thank you. You have all been very patient, and even gracious in your support and feedback over these last few months. The entire mod team is happy with how the site is growing and flourishing after what feels a long rest. Please, all of you, accept our heartfelt thanks. Without you, Godai would be inert and unchanging. You are the life that gives this place meaning.
Now, while we can't talk at length about what the future will hold today, we can unveil something the mod team has been working on. A new key item with plenty of customization and features, we are pleased to announce camps!

Now, while we can't talk at length about what the future will hold today, we can unveil something the mod team has been working on. A new key item with plenty of customization and features, we are pleased to announce camps!
Camps! At home in the wilds!
The Camp is a tent and basic travel supplies. Things most characters should have, yes. However, it is also so much more. Camps are represented by an icon in your key items like this:
The appearance of the Camp doesn't matter. What is important is what the Camp does.
So what does the Camp do?
Well, in topics without any battles, the Camp can restore health equal to a potion to ALL Pokemon in your party. It does this by consuming Camp Supplies. These are foodstuffs, general medicines, whatever fits the RP you need. Much like growing berries, you must show your character tending to the Pokemon, but it is a great way to help take care of those minor wounds and bond with your Partners!
The Camp and the Camp Supplies can be purchased in any town. Camps are 3500 and Camp Supplies are 350. Each character may carry a maximum of three (3) Camp Supplies at any given time.
On top of that, a Camp can restore one (1) fainted Pokemon to fighting capability, just like a revive! You cannot have any encounters if you wish to use the Camp this way, and must RP tending to the Pokemon.
That's not all Camps can do, however! They also come with a wide variety of additional Camp Gear!
Water Collector: This collection system has a 30% chance to produce a Fresh Water in an evaluation. Please be sure to note it in your evaluation request or the roll might not be made! Even better, if a Pokemon in your team knows Rain Dance, that chance for a Fresh Water is 100%!
Windmill: This lightweight tower allows you to make Berry Vitamins and Candy in five Post! Much like in a Pokemon Center, you must RP this action to gain its benefit. If a Pokemon in your team knows Gust, Defog, or Whirlwind, the mixing can be done in four posts. If you happen to have a Pokemon that knows Hurricane or Tailwind, it can be completed in only three posts.
Sieve and Stardust Collector: This collection pan and sieve allow you to collect dust from micro meteors and atmospheric debris. It produces a stardust every three topics and has a 5% chance to produce a comet shard instead. If a Pokemon on your team knows Sandstorm, this Gear produces an item in two topics instead. If you have a Pokemon that knows Draco Meteor or Wish, you'll have a 20% chance to get a Comet Shard instead of 5%.
Solar Oven: For the Contest Star on the go! This old fashioned survival tool is extremely effective at baking Poffins, allowing Trainers and Contest Stars alike to bake their Pokemon treats while in the wilds. No longer will you have to hurry to a Pokemon Center to bake a Poffin before a berry spoils! The Solar Oven bakes a batch of Poffins in four posts. As with making Poffins in town, you must RP the interaction. If you have a Pokemon with Sunny Day, the oven works at peak efficiency, yielding steamy hot Poffins in just two posts.
Signal Flag: This item only works in Godai. It allows you to call for a delivery via Delimail anywhere in Godai! The cost for delivery is 150 plus 50 for each location between you and the place you are ordering from (minimum 1). You may only order once per topic, and you may only order from one Pokemart in a delivery.
Happiness Items: (note that only 1 benefit is gained from these items, they do not stack)
Pokebeds: These beds are the fluffiest! They are also designed to stand up to all sorts of wear and tear. Use these, and your Pokemon will be grateful! They are even more effective when Pokemon have plenty of time to rest and recover.
Wind Chimes: These chimes sound similar to the ringing of the Soothe Bell, and help Pokemon sleep at night. The ringing of the chimes has a calming effect, making it easier to approach and bond even the most hostile of Pokemon. They are even more effective when Pokemon have plenty of time to rest and recover.
So, once again, Camps can be found in any Pokemart!
