Opal Boulevard
When it comes to Big business, with a capital B, there isn't any place bigger than Opal Boulevard. The southern area of North Central, Opal Boulevard comes in two parts, but both have one major similarity. Where Metropolitan Avenue catered general produce for all the way up to the lower-high classes and some specialised products for the same range, Opal Boulevard is the centre of all things exotic and luxury goods for the rich.
The two parts are actually originally from a divide between the rich people who had no interest in dealings, and the rich businessmen, and so the divide that no longer really effects Opal is shown quite clearly in the architectural differences. On one half of the area, there are mansions galore. Villas, big houses with great terraces. Things that look like heaven to live in, luxury just for a day living within. On the other, you have the multistory corporate buildings, the great factories and fronts. Flagship stores taking whole blocks of land.
However, due to the rich finding themselves not so rich compared to their neighbours, they no longer stick out of trading themselves. What used to be a commerce war back years ago is now an almost pleasant rivalry. Well, as pleasant as the influential can be, which is to say, observedly polite.
Built up between the two are specialised industries. Erington's Fine Fur Coats, Heartson's Ballgowns and Formal Wear. The names known well amongst any of the higher class, known as well for their high cost as they are for their extreme quality.
Farren 'Linoone' Tullian, known for his ability to keep finding stocks of evolutionary stones and other rarities. All these objects on sale for the rich, for those who can pay the exorbitant prices for the more obscure items. If you have the money, Opal Boulevard has anything and everything you could want.
If you're a trainer in Opal Boulevard, you have money to throw around. A poor trainer hanging around Opal probably has very good reason to endure the snobbily disdainful glances of the influential who walk by on the street. Comparative to Metropolitan Avenue, Opal Boulevard has much sparser traffic, with people easily having personal space around them even during the most busy hours.
